AZ Central: why millions are watching aura battles

Nadia Cantú’s La Voz / AZ Central piece, 19 August (updated 21), says informal aura battles pick whoever looks most confident, not strongest. Mexico, Argentina, and Costa Rica already run public contests; the same videos are crossing into the United States. Gaming “farming” is the metaphor for stacking admiration. Trying too hard is losing aura. Travis Kelce and Steve Aoki are named as adult recreations. We do not name a child as the story, and we do not invent a Phoenix plaza date.
